The services we allow our customers to use allows the dissemination of information for both commercial and non-commercial use. While we do not actively monitor the way you use our services, you must adhere to the following guidelines we have established. We have the right to terminate or suspend your account or halt the dissemination of information in any means we deem appropriate if you do not adhere to the guidelines set forth in this document:
General
These Policies are designed to assist in protecting the Service, our Customers, and the Internet community as a whole from improper and/or illegal activity over the Internet. Customers are expected to behave in a reasonable fashion and to adhere to commonly accepted practices of the Internet community.
Excessive Usage
Customer accounts with unusual activity excessively beyond the service level paid for will be notified and if deemed a risk to the resources of Intertune, will have their accounts suspended. Customers that exceed their purchased bandwidth and service arrangements will be charged for the extra bandwidth or service usage.
Spamming
Customers may not use services to send any unsolicited messages also known as "spamming". Spamming is strictly prohibited and when a complaint is received Intertune will investigate the matter and determine whether the e-mail recipients were received through an "opt-in" e-mail list.
Illegal or Unauthorized Access to other Computers and Networks
You may not use our services to illegally or without authorization engage in spying, monitoring, exploiting or otherwise known collectively as "hacking" other computers or networks. This includes the use of port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or other information gathering techniques.
Spoofing/Fraud
Customers may not attempt to send e-mail messages or transmit any electronic communications using a name or address of someone other than the user for purposes of deception. Any attempt to impersonate someone else by altering a source IP address information or by using forged headers or other identifying information is prohibited. Any attempt to fraudulently conceal, forge, or otherwise falsify a user's identity in connection with use of the service is prohibited.
Intellectual Property Violations
Engaging in an activity that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, software piracy, and patents held by individuals, corporations, or other entities is strictly prohibited. Also customer adheres that they will not engage in activity that violates privacy, publicity, or other personal rights of others.
In addition to the above the following is not permitted:
- Adult content & child pornography
- Pirated software
- Pirated music
- Sites that participate in any illegal activity
- Distribution of worms & viruses
Other Activities
Engaging in activities, whether lawful or unlawful, that Intertune determines to be harmful to its customers, operations, reputation, goodwill, or customer relations.
