Intertune services are residing in a Tier-1 data center. This ensures less hops to the network backbone, as the speed and efficiency to reach your server or site is maximized by its Tier-1 presence. The network is backed by a fully redundant OC-48 connection and multiple OC-12 lines.

Equipment

Uninterruptable Power Supply

Backup power is used when the electrical power fails or drops to an unacceptable voltage level. In the event of a blackout, power can be supplied through a diesel generator to ensure proper power distribution as well as avoid downtime.

Fire Protection

IFD (Incipient Fire Detection) systems monitor and take samples of the air and warn staff of unusual odor. FM-200 gas-based fire suppression equipment with a dry pipe system are used. Also the fire department is automatically notified in case of a fire.

Security

Access to the facility is based on key card access with a biometric hand scan. There are also numerous video cameras located throughout the facility.
